Books and Bibles for Liberia
While in Liberia James and Maddie noticed that many pastors didn’t have Bibles or the Bibles they had were very old and torn. Through their efforts $6000 was raised from a number of churches to purchase and ship Bibles and other books to Liberia.
Pictured here are Rev Ken Hall, pastor of First UMC of Graham with Jerry Kulah, District Superintendent Monrovia Liberia along with Brian Yoder and Susan Rayle of First UMC. Beth and Kelly Crissman of Plowpoint are on each side.
Two thousand Bibles were collected, purchased, prayed for and presented for God’s work and sent to the church and pastors of Liberia.
Pastor Larry Bird of Rincon UMC in Georgia brought several boxes of Bibles and other books from church members to add to the tons of books and Bibles that were shipped to Liberia.
